Check Package Status
Sometimes packages are delayed or rerouted because of unusual circumstances. Before contacting us, enter your package’s tracking number on the Global Express Tracking® page to check its current status.
Start a Missing Mail Search
If your mail or package hasn’t arrived after 7 business days, you can submit a Missing Mail Search Request.
If you weren’t home when we tried to deliver your package, you can use the tracking bar code number on the paper slip your carrier left to schedule a redelivery.
Changing a Package’s Destination
If a package hasn’t been delivered or released for delivery, you can return it to the sender or send it to a Post Office™ to be held for pickup.

Need to change your address for a short time? Whether you’re making a long-term move or just using your new address for a few months, your mail can follow you.
We recommend filling out your forwarding request at least 2 weeks in advance. You should receive mail at the forwarding address 7 to 10 Postal business days after you submit your request.
If you do not want to forward your mail, or you will be gone for 30 days or less, USPS® will hold your mail so it doesn’t pile up at your mailbox.
