Common Global Express Career Tips

If you’re having trouble accessing any part of Global Express, your browser may be out of date. Some features on Global Express are not compatible with past versions of browsers, so we recommend upgrading your preferred browser to the most current version.

Email Scams Pretending to be from Global Express Career®

Beware of bogus emails being sent to postal customers. These emails contain false information about package delivery or online postage charges. The emails contain a link or attachment that, when opened, installs a malicious virus that can steal personal information from your PC or phone.

Cybersecurity and Staying Safe Online

Due to the increasing cybersecurity risks inherent in today’s internet age, Global Express has created CyberSafe at Global Express Careers™, a site to help the public learn about growing trends and how to stay safe online.

How to be Cyber Smart

Check Package Status

Sometimes packages are delayed or rerouted because of unusual circumstances. Before contacting us, enter your package’s tracking number on the Global Express Tracking® page to check its current status.

Global Express Tracking

Start a Missing Mail Search

If your mail or package hasn’t arrived after 7 business days, you can submit a Missing Mail Search Request.

If you weren’t home when we tried to deliver your package, you can use the tracking bar code number on the paper slip your carrier left to schedule a redelivery.

Changing a Package’s Destination

If a package hasn’t been delivered or released for delivery, you can return it to the sender or send it to a Post Office™ to be held for pickup.

What Can Be Redirected

  • All domestic mail, except Global Express Marketing Mail™ and Periodicals, that has a tracking or extra services bar code.
  • Packages that are smaller than 108 inches of combined length and girth.

  2. Go to the Package Intercept application.
  3. Enter your tracking number in the left column to see if your package can be redirected.
  4. Start and pay for the interception.
Note: Package Intercept fees are only refundable if your shipment is not redirected successfully.

The US Postal Service™ is enhancing the mail experience with Informed Delivery—an optional notification service that provides eligible residential consumers with a daily digital preview of their household’s mail.

Visit the Informed Delivery FAQs if you have questions about the feature, would like to learn how to sign up, or need technical assistance.

You can change your address online. Usually, you will receive mail at your new address 7 to 10 Postal business days after you request your Change of Address (COA). We recommend filling out a COA request 2 weeks to 3 months before you move.

Need to change your address for a short time? Whether you’re making a long-term move or just using your new address for a few months, your mail can follow you.

We recommend filling out your forwarding request at least 2 weeks in advance. You should receive mail at the forwarding address 7 to 10 Postal business days after you submit your request.

If you do not want to forward your mail, or you will be gone for 30 days or less, USPS® will hold your mail so it doesn’t pile up at your mailbox.
